Manufactured by the award winning and world famous vaping brand Voopoo, the Zovoo Dragbar is their answer to disposable vaping. It’s a slightly different shape than we’re used to and it comes in a twin pack which is interesting. There are also some cool features with the Dragbar Z700, but is actually any good? Well we decided to use a few of them for a while to find out. Key Features of the Zovoo Dragbar Z700 SE The Zovoo Dragbar is an ultra lightweight, ultra slim device. At only 2cm wide and 11cm tall this tiny kit is impressive on first sight, producing up to 700 puffs per kit. Each box comes in a twin pack of 700 puffs per kit, giving the total pack 1400 puffs, which will easily outlast any pack of cigarettes. Inside is a small 380mAh built-in battery and of course the Dragbar is pre-filled with 2ml of e-liquid in a 20mg nicotine strength for TPD compliance. Using Voopoo’s Genetree ceramic coils inside, the Dragbar deviates from most disposable vapes that use mesh coils. Very simple and very straight forward, inside the box is the two Zovoo Dragbar Z700 devices in their plastic packaging. Zovoo Dragbar Available Flavours Blue Razz Ice Drag Bull Ice Blueberry Pomegranate Aloe Grape Drag Bull Strawberry Apple Peach Blueberry Raspberry Cola Ice Watermelon Strawberry Mango Ice Triple Melon Strawberry Kiwi Strawberry Banana Pineapple Ice Grape Raspberry Watermelon Ice Lemon Lime Green Apple Ice Cherry Ice Banana Ice Flavour Test I know we say it every time, but what’s the most important thing for a disposable vape? Good flavour! So does the Zovoo Dragbar compare to the most popular disposables like Elf Bar, Lost Mary and SKE Bar for flavour? In short, no. Unfortunately the flavour is not quite as full on the Dragbar as other disposable flavours. This is a good thing if you’re not a fan of overpowering, sweet flavours. The Zovoo is much more of a mellow, light and almost floral flavour. I believe the reason the flavour isn’t as good as other disposables is probably due to the Dragbar using a ceramic, rather than a mesh coil which we know are fantastic for flavour production. The upside to that is the coils last a little longer on the Dragbar than most disposables. Swings and roundabouts! Build Quality, Design and Battery Life Build Quality Now build quality isn’t the most important thing for a device that you’re going to use for a couple of days then throw away, but it’s still something to consider, particularly if you’re a little clumsy. The Zovoo Dragbar feels “disposable”. This might seem obvious, but if you take an Elf Bar by comparison, you’ll feel a bit of weight and a metallic finish. With the Dragbar, you’ll get an all plastic feel, incredibly slim and lightweight. It’s almost so lightweight you don’t feel like you’ve got a vape kit in your hand. Design The design is probably the best feature of the Zovoo Dragbar. Unlike most disposables, you can see exactly how much liquid is left in the device because the mouthpiece is the tank. This is a really clever design and something that I believe disposable vapers have been looking for. With other disposables you have no way of knowing what liquid is left. This also adds accountability for manufacturers that claim their devices last the length of the liquid but often don’t. One design floor with the Dragbar is the fact you can’t stand it up. This is due to the bottom of the device being thin and rounded, so there’s no way you could stand it on a table for example. It doesn’t leak, so it’s not too much of an issue, but it’s not very hygienic in say a pub bench setting for example. Minor, but worth noting. Youth Design One serious area of concern for us with this device, is its appeal to young people. The Dragbar almost looks like one of those Flic N Lic lollipops you’d get as a kid, or a frozen popsicle. This is at best naive and been overlooked, at worst it’s a sinister design and presents a problem that the vaping industry is battling with at the moment. Either way, it seems fairly irresponsible from a manufacturer that is so well respected and produces some really great smoking cessation devices. Battery Life Built with a 380mAh lithium ion battery inside, the Dragbar seems to last almost it’s claimed 700 puffs. This is surprising from such a small battery. Overall, the battery life is really good for a disposable device, particularly one that is so slim and feels so almost cheap built. Pro’s and Con’s of the Zovoo Dragbar Z700 Pro’s 2 Devices = 1400 puffs Cost effective, good value for money E-liquid window Con’s Cheap feeling Weak flavour Can’t stand it upright Summary… Overall, the Zovoo Dragbar Z700 is excellent value for money. You are getting two quality disposables at a relatively cheap price, with good flavour and that convenient e-liquid window. It’s a shame the flavour isn’t quite as good as other disposables but I think if you like that mellow flavour, it’s a great device. _____________________________________________________________________________________ Need help with anything vape related or have a question about our products?
