A must read for Sub-Ohm Vapers:
Firstly what is Sub-ohm Vaping? Sub ohm vaping, also known as sub ohming, is a style of vaping that produces large clouds of vapor when using a vape kit. Sub ohm devices use low resistance coils that are less than 1 ohm, hence the name sub ohm. … It typically refers to direct lung devices with coils that are 0.5 ohms or lower.
This device is partially designed for sub-ohm vaping. To use as a sub-ohm vaping device, this requires more vaping experience to use safely and effectively. Extra care should be taken when using a sub ohm tank. Sub Ohm coils will only work on a mod capable of firing sub ohm atomisers, and Ni200 coils will only work on devices capable of Temperature Control. Please ensure that your batteries can handle the extra power requirements and that your mod can handle the amps.
We would also not advise to use any e-liquid with more than 6mg of nicotine for sub ohming, as your vapour may taste harsh and slightly sharper. Sub ohm vaping produces a bigger throat (and thus, bigger vapour) hit than standard coils, and extra care should be taken.
But don’t worry, if you’re using the standard coils vaping with a higher mg range E-liquids and Nic salts is absolutely fine. The advice is purely for vapers who are looking to sub-ohm with the Aspire Zelos.
