Best for: Low or no nicotine, huge clouds
Vaping Style: DTL (Direct-To-Lung)

Best for: Around 1mg to 6mg of nicotine, large clouds

You can use the 0.6Ohms pods with 50VG/50PG liquids such as nic salts, however the coil will burn out much faster then if you used a 0.8Ohms pod, and it will be prone to leaking

0.8Ohms

Best for: High nicotine (10mg, 20mg) with a tighter draw and less vapour
Vaping Style: MTL (Mouth-To-Lung)
Best Wattage: 12-18W

What Is ‘Ohms’?

Ohms relates to the resistance of the coil. Anything under 1 ohm is classed as ‘sub ohm’ and should be used with e-liquids that have a VG ratio of 60VG or above. Anything 1 ohms or above can be used with 50/50 liquids and other high PG liquids such as nic salts.

The higher the ohm the stronger the throat hit, less vapour will be produced, and the coil will last longer before it needs to be changed.

The lower the ohm the more intense the flavour and the larger the clouds, however the coil will not last as long.

How Long Do OXVA Vprime pods last?

This depends on quite a lot of factors, such as the Ohms of your pod, the VG/PG ratio of the liquid you’re using, the length of the drags you take, and even so much as the way the kit is charged. As a general rule, the lower the Ohms of the pod, so for example 0.2Ohms, the more often you’ll find yourself having to replace them. This is because the lower the ohm, the hotter the coil heats up, and the faster it will start to taste burnt. Here are some top tips for extending the life of your coils:

How To Make My Pod Last Longer:

1. Make sure the liquid you’re using is compatible with the Ohms of the pod you have chosen. You can scroll up for the best liquids for each of the Oxva pods.
2. Make sure the wattage is not too low or too high. Again the ideal wattages can be found just above.
3. Shorten the puffs you’re taking. Keep them to around 2 seconds max to avoid heating the coil up too much in one go.
4. Take your pod out when it’s on charge. Leaving the pod in when charging your kit can cause the coil to heat up rapidly, shortening the life of the cotton inside.
