The Voopoo Drag 5 vape kit is the perfect kit for those looking for a high tech and powerful sub ohm vaping experience. With a maximum power output of 177W and space for 2 x 18650 batteries (not Included), the Drag 5 is an ideal solution for high performing and efficient vaping. When you need to re charge your batteries, you can either do so using the provided USB-C cable for fast charging, or you can remove the batteries entirely and re charge them using an external battery charger. You’re also able to use the screens display to monitor your battery level in each individual battery.

The kit features a full colour display screen that displays the battery life, puff count, voltage, ohms, wattage settings, mode, and a timer which will display the length of your last puff in seconds. There is also a lock switch above the 2 control buttons, which allows you to lock the kit and prevent it from firing during transportation (amongst other functionalities). You can also enable a flame animation which will display on the screen as you’re taking a puff.

If you’d like to switch modes, chose an interface colour, switch the flame animation on/off, reset the puff counter, or evaluate the health of your batteries, click the up and down button at the same time to open the menu.

Coil Compatibility

The kit comes with a Uforce-X tank with a 2ml e-liquid capacity, and 2 x PnP X coils, 1 in 0.15ohms and 1 in 0.3ohms, perfectly suited to provide a true sub-ohm vape. The PnP X coils are also available in 0.2Ohms and 0.6Ohms if you wish to customise your vape further, allowing you to choose from a DTL, RDTL or MTL vaping style. The PnP X coils are created with thermal-stable cotton for a balanced e-liquid delivery, and are made with a patented 4-layer leakproof design for a long lasting and anti leak vape.

Voopoo claim that each coil can sustain 100ml of e-liquid with no flavour fade or coil burning. This would not apply at high wattages.

To change your coil: simply remove the U-force X tank from the kit, unscrew the bottom, pull to remove the old coil, and push the new one in.

4 Vaping Modes

There are 4 modes available to use with the Voopoo Drag 5, these include:

SMART Mode: This is the default mode your kit will be on when you first take it out of the box. It allows the kit to automictically detect your coil resistance and adjust the power output accordingly, giving you the ideal output with minimal effort. This mode utilises the built in Gene T.T chip, which prevents you from exceeding the optimal power output and prematurely burning the coil.

RBA mode: This mode is perfect for a seasoned vaper, it allows you to completely customise your wattage between 5W to 177W. It’s ideal for cloud chasers and those who want to experiment with wattage.

Eco mode: This mode will automatically lower your power output while you vape and allow you to conserve your battery if you’re running low.

TC Mode (Temperature Control): This mode is one step above the RBA mode, for those who really know their way around a sub ohm mod. It allows you to customise the temperate of the device as apposed to the wattage. You’ll be able to set a temperature limit, allowing you to take long drags without the kit getting any hotter and staying within your pre-programed range.

To enter the menu to access these modes, simply press the up and down button together to open the main menu, then select ‘mode’ at the top of this list.

U Force-X tank

The U Force-X tank that comes included with this kit uses a 510 connection and has a 2ml e-liquid capacity. You can adjust the airflow via the dual air intake at the top of the tank and refill it with ease using the slide top filling cap which will slide and snap open and closed with no button release needed.

The innovative dual airflow intake ensures no leaking occurs, while still maintaining a thorough atomisation.

Battery Access

The Voopoo Drag 5 features a genius way to access your batteries. Simply fold open the flexible C frame cover to reveal your batteries, and fold it back over when you’re done. This cover can also be completely removed if needed, and is held firmly in place by powerful magnets. There is also a small fabric ribbon that sits under your batteries, allowing you effortlessly remove them from the kit.

Gone are the days of struggling to slide off a steel cover and digging around to release the batteries!

3 In 1 Flip Switch Functionality

The Drag 5 has a switch above the up and down buttons which can be used in conjunction with the following features once programmed by the user:

• Locking The Device: To prevent any misfires.
• Locking The Power: For a consistent draw and taste
• Switching The Device On And Off

To programme the 3 in 1 switch, simply open the menu by pressing the up and down buttons at the same time, and navigate to ‘switch’ on the settings screen.

Operating The Fire Button

The fire button on the front of the kit has multiple functionalities:

Click And Hold: This will fire the kit and will allow you to take a drag, as there is no draw activation with the Drag 5.

Click 3 Times: This is to lock and unlock the power settings.

Click 5 Times: This is to turn the device on and off.
