Elux are cementing themselves as a leader in disposable vaping, rivalling the likes of Geekbar and Elf Bar. Their staple product the Elux Legend was a huge hit in the UK, but now the Legends little brother is on the scene. Introducing the Elux Pro…
Key Features of the Elux Pro Disposable Vape Kit
Powered by a built-in 550mAh battery, the Elux Pro offers up to 600 puffs (approx) which is roughly equivalent to 35 cigarettes depending on how you vape. Of course, the Pro is completely disposable which means there is no way to refill or recharge the device, it is draw activated and once it’s done its done. The Pro is pre-filled with 2ml of e-liquid and is currently only available in a 20mg (2%) nicotine strength. At 11cm tall and 1.8cm wide, it’s slightly taller than most disposables but sit’s in line with most others in weight at 28g.

What’s in the box?
Inside the box you’ll find the Elux Pro disposable vape kit (thank god), it’s plastic/foil protective packaging and the usual warning/guideline card.
Flavours:
At the time of writing, there are currently 18 flavours in the Elux Pro range. Sadly, these are only available in a 20mg nicotine strength currently, which is a bit of a downer for people who like the kit, but want to reduce their nicotine consumption over time. Most of the flavours in the range are some kind of fruity blend which is pretty common for most disposable ranges, but there remains a lot of variety for vapers to choose from despite this.

Flavour Test
Now for the big question, what does it taste like? We all know that flavour is the most important thing for a disposable vape kit. How does the Elux Pro fare? Put simply, meh. Now I can’t speak for all flavours as I haven’t tried every single one, but of the ones we have tried the flavour is nowhere near the quality or richness of Elf Bar’s or Geekbars. Having said this and without being too harsh of a critic, the Pro is pretty decent, but it’s far from exceptional.
One thing to note is that unlike an Elf Bar, the Elux Pro flavours that aren’t ice based really aren’t ice based. This is perfect if you aren’t a fan of the icy hits of Elf Bars, but if you like even the non-ice based flavours to have that, you’re in the wrong place here. For this reason, I am going to put this down to personal preference rather than a criticism.
The draw on the Pro is nice and smooth as you expect with most disposables. There is no harshness on the throat and overall flavour delivery is for lack of a better term, not bad. The overall flavour experience isn’t great though, you aren’t left with a watering mouth and there isn’t much richness in the flavour, this is surprising considering the Elux Legend Mini is so full of flavour.
Build Quality and Design
From a build quality perspective, the Elux Pro is certainly one of the best built disposable vape kits. We’ve thrown it about quite a bit and it is yet to show even the slightest hint at a scratch. Of course this isn’t terribly important for disposables, but you can rest easy that it’ll survive drops on a night out and still work.
The Pro does certainly feel more sturdy in your hand than other disposables, it feels more like a starter kit than a disposable which is great if you like something with a bit more of a chunky feel. It’s semi rounded edged aren’t quite box like but it definitely isn’t rounded like the Elf Bar, it’s somewhere in between. Design wise it has a slick matte finish on the body, with white branding on the front that neatly displays the flavour you’re vaping (in case you forget). Despite this fairly slick body, the mouthpiece and bottom of the kit is a cheap looking plastic which isn’t very aesthetically pleasing. The mouthpiece is fairly bulky but is definitely comfortable in the mouth, it’s like a thicker Elf Bar mouthpiece.
Where can I buy an Elux Pro?
Now you might be thinking, I like the look and sound of the Elux Pro, where can I get one of these? Well the good news is you can get them at Vape.co.uk of course. As well as this, you should be able to pick up an Elux Pro from almost any vape shop and many convenience stores in the high street too.
We would urge you to exercise caution when buying any disposable including the Elux Pro to check it’s authenticity. One way to ensure you are buying a legitimate product is to scan the QR code on the side of the packaging which should link you directly to Elux’ website where you can verify your product with them. Any packaging that doesn’t have this code for Elux is almost definitely an illegitimate product.
Pro’s and Con’s of the Elux Pro Disposable
Pro’s
Great build quality
Good puff amount
Good choice of flavours
Con’s
Not amazing flavour
Summary…
In conclusion, the Elf Bar Pro is definitely not the best disposable that exists, and is actually inferior to other great Elux disposables like the Elux Legend Mini. This is surprising considering they are made in the same place by the same company and presumably use the same liquid. Despite this, the flavour isn’t excellent on this kit if you like a sweeter vape. Overall we’d give the Elux Pro a 6 out of 10 all round.
